Our main deck / patio overlooks Simpson Bay. Sunsets are around  6 PM and are simply amazing.  As the night progresses the evening views are magical. Part of the Patio is covered. The open air portion of the patio offers glorious views of the stars at night. The main deck can accommodate private events from 25 to 250 guests depending on seating configuration. The patio can easily be tented.  

An open air event space and lounge set just below the Patio and adjacent to the historic rock foundation wall. Consequently, the history of this once might Sugar Plantation oozes everywhere.  The lower deck features a hidden private bar cut deep into the rock wall. The lower deck is designed for groups from 30 to 200. This space is surrounded by tropical foliage and can easily be tented should the need arise. The lower deck is ideal for family events as it sits adjacent to our  children’s play area.

Our property was last occupied as the primary residence of St Maarten’s famed Flemming Family. Our main dining room is therefore named the Flemming Room.  

The Flemming Room  is our principal interior dining room. It  occupies approximately 2,000 sq feet  and comfortably accommodates events from 25 to 125. The vibe is contemporary and elegant with a mix of classic and contemporary Southeast Asian accents and antiquities throughout. The Flemming Room sits adjacent to our main bar and offers gorgeous views of Simpson Bay and beyond.

Built in 1812, renovated in 1970, and then fully restored in 2021 this historic stone building features an extensive Wine Cave, humidor, and beautiful stone walls. Entering the Rock Room is going back in time. The Rock Room has full Audio - Visual plus hi speed internet.  The Rock room is perfect for small meetings and groups for 10 – 30 guests. Private Dining is ideally suited for groups of 10.

Albert Flemming the patriarch of the Fleming Family had a passion for rare Rums.  Albert’s Cave is a tribute to Albert Flemming and features more than 30 types of aged rums (many of which are extremely hard to find) from the West Indies to South America.  Albert’s Cave occupies an intimate stone room on the lower level of the property. Albert’s Cave has an outdoor stone patio adjacent where one can enjoy a cigar after inspecting our humidor.  Albert’s Cave also features several Chessboards a Dominoes table, Backgammon and a few classic Caribbean inspired novels.

Designed for our regular patrons and members of the 1812 Foundation our shared work Center is located on the second floor of the Rock Room and is open daily from Noon to 6 PM. The room is available for private meetings as well. It features 2 desktop computers, a scanner, a printer, and hi speed internet.
